It has been five years since 2018 that the D1 Grand Prix series was held in Odaiba. The competition section is compact, with a layout similar to the Okuibuki match. Naoki Nakamura leads the series with 103 points, followed by Kodai Sobagiri in second with 100 points, and Seimi Tanaka in third with 97 points. A maximum of 58 points can be earned in the remaining two races, so even Masato Kawabata, who is numerically ranked 11th in the drivers’ rankings, has a chance of making a comeback. Masa Bando of Bakusou Bando-gumi will be the guest commentator for the V-OPT version.
